Courtesy & Respect
We treat opponents with courtesy and respect, but we are unflinching in the pursuit of our client’s objectives.

The legal directories have described some of us as “aggressive”, but we don’t see ourselves that way. We always aim to build a courteous and mutually respectful relationship with our opponents. As our working lives are committed to bringing claims against London Market insurers, we know how important it is to try and work with those insurers, and their solicitors, effectively.
Of course, that isn’t always possible. Some insurers, and their solicitors, are too quick to see the policyholder as their opponent: to forget that the policyholder is, first and foremost, the insurer’s customer. When that happens we will fight every inch of our client’s corner, and we never take a backward step.
If that means that some insurers consider us to be aggressive, then that is something that we are prepared to accept.
