Unlimited
We launched the Fenchurch Law Unlimited (Unlimited) service to underline our commitment to the goal of protecting policyholders and levelling the playing field with insurers. As its name suggests, the service offers unlimited high quality, specialist legal advice in relation to a client’s insurance policy for a single up-front fee.
Most insurance policyholders are unable to match the financial resources or the specialist professional support networks that their insurers can call upon. This means that if insurers refuse to pay a claim, very few policyholders are able to challenge the decision on a commercially level playing field. There is an inequality of arms between the majority of insurers and almost every policyholder that our firm was created to address.
To underline this commitment, Fenchurch Law offers a unique and innovative solution through our Unlimited service, which provides unlimited access to high quality, specialist legal representation from our solicitors and to a unique package of disbursement funding and After the Event insurance for a single up-front fee.
As part of our Unlimited service, policyholders have access to unlimited legal advice in relation to their rights and obligations under their insurance policies and have cover for the cost of pursing a claim against their insurer, regardless of the strength of the claim. For claims with a good prospect of success, costs such as counsels’ fees, experts’ and court fees, and the risk of having to pay insurer’s costs are also included.
Unlimited is sold through brokers on a delegated authority basis, alongside the policyholder’s existing commercial insurance programme. The policyholder purchases the service when they take out their insurance policy, for a single up-front fee calculated as 1% of the insurance policy premium, plus any costs that we are able to recover from our clients’ opponents in the event of a successful claim.
The service offers clients a high degree of reassurance, and confidence that should an issue arise relating to an insurance claim, they have immediate access to the same quality of specialist legal services that insurers have enjoyed for decades.
