“I was attracted to Fenchurch Law by the specialist nature and quality of the work, as well as the potential to assist policyholders in achieving a fair outcome in what is usually an unbalanced playing field. I find the work really stimulating and interesting and thrive on the client interaction and having the ability to make a difference for clients, helping them to achieve the outcomes they are looking for.”

Daniel is the firm’s Deputy Managing Partner and leads our Financial and Professional Risks practice group. Daniel acts for a number of leading national and multi-national organisations, and has acted for Policyholders in a number of high-profile cases in the Commercial Court. He specialises in advising policyholders on professional indemnity and property risks and uses his experience of nearly a decade working in and acting for the London insurance market to assist policyholders in achieving the best possible outcome in their insurance disputes.

In addition, Daniel heads the firm’s Leeds Office, with a focus on expanding the firm’s presence in the North of England.

Daniel graduated with a Law degree from Leeds Beckett University, before achieving a distinction in his LPC. He began his career as a claims handler, acting under a delegated authority for a number of major insurers in the London Market and internationally. Daniel then spent 7 years working for Robin Simon/Triton Global as a trainee and then solicitor, specialising in defending professional indemnity claims against solicitors, valuers, accountants, property managers and other insurance and construction professionals and giving coverage advice to insurers on construction, solicitors and cross-border insurance disputes. Prior to joining Fenchurch Law in 2018, he worked as an Associate at DWF, specialising in professional indemnity and insurance litigation.

Daniel is a member of the British Insurance Law Association.
